Meetings:
Our meetings are held the second Friday of each month except
July and August, 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Saint Andrews
Episcopal Church, 7410 S. 12th St., Tacoma, WA. 98465. Visitors
welcome!
Focus Areas:
The guild is dedicated to the promotion of hand weaving and
related fiber arts, and demonstrations and exhibits of these
crafts for the enrichment of the public's knowledge.
Outreach:
The guild spends many hours participating in various activities
teaching children about weaving and spinning, weaving mats for
the "Empty Bowls" soup sale to benefit the Emergency Food
Network, supplying looms and teachers for "First Night"
celebration on New Years Eve downtown, meeting with home school
groups at the art center, etc.
